Here we go again, rumors linking a deal between Lewis and Ferrari. It seems that whenever F1 Twitter has nothing to discuss, they decide to bring up this topic again to entertain us and generate some traffic.

If Hamilton were to replace Carlos and join Charles Leclerc, he will be competing with a driver who is deeply rooted in Ferrari, with established authority and familiarity with the team's dynamics. He excels in Qualifying, an aspect some argue is not Hamiltonโ€™s biggest strength as he drew with Russel in 2023.

The prospect of Hamilton starting with a different car philosophy, one that Charles has been exposed to for years, is hard to comprehend. It will be a challenge opposing the success and stability he currently enjoys at Mercedes while comfortably beating one of the best and outspoken young talents, George Russell. Imagine Lewis exectuing this move when he reaches 41 years of age and going to deal with such off-track challenges and adapting to a different car philosophy would be substantial hurdles.

If the speculations arise because of the Mercedes' setbacks in the past two years, let us not forget that Ferrari is enduring a much longer championship drought, since Kimi fetched their last championship in 2007 โ€“ 17 years ago.

Hamilton is synonymous with Mercedes, his name almost as iconic as Ferrari's, and he has nothing to prove by executing this move. He is statistically the GOAT ๐Ÿ

While rumors persist, let's be realistic and acknowledge that these speculations lack validity.. Letโ€™s wake up to reality and remember that these talks have been coming up literally every year.

However, if the future proves me wrong, it would undoubtedly be an exciting turn of events to watch and follow.
